Taking A Look At The Career Coach Job

coaching relationship

Do you remember back to when you were a kid and there was a job that you always wanted to do? Some people fulfilled that dream and went on to specialize in that career. Some people did not and have always felt a little out of sorts when it comes to their present career field. Stop wasting your time in a job that is just a 9-5 place for you to earn money. You need to have a rewarding career doing what you want to do. You need a career coach to help you find that special job that is perfect for you.

A career coach is someone who can analyze your desires, strengths and weaknesses to help you decide which career field is just right for you. Your life information is given to him or her along with a list of goals that you would like to accomplish. Remember one thing before going any farther: it is not the coach’s job to achieve your dreams for you. Through the coaching process, he or she is only there to help you accomplish them yourself.

Effective coaching begins with you. What are your hobbies? What do you like most about your current job? What do you like the least? These are important questions to ask yourself. Instead of asking “why” try to ask yourself a “what” question. Why’s never answer the underlying questions but a “What” question will allow you to take stock of your life. The coach consultant should be able to help you look at your life with a fresh pair of eyes, and offer a success principle and some important life tips.

Once you have answered the basic questions about your life and your workplace you can begin to look at the areas you are strongest in and focus your energy there. Take for example a job that involves dealing with the public. Are you someone who makes friends easily and people have an easy time talking to you? You may want to consider something in the public eye as your chosen career path.

It is time to stop dwelling on the bad things that have happened in your life or the negative aspects of your life. Now is the time for positive thinking. Through a strong coaching relationship you will learn some effective techniques for dealing with any life issue. You need some revitalization in your life. A fresh way of thinking about things. A career coach can give you a new perspective on life and soon you will start to see new possibilities around every corner.

The Law to Success Mastery Program: Your Purpose

If you want to succeed in life, it is imperative that you understand your purpose, the reason you are on this Earth. While all of the most successful people throughout history lived with a definite purpose in mind, most people are not so attuned to ourselves. This means that a key step in becoming successful is to figure out what our purpose is, and let that purpose guide us. The Law to Success can help.

If you haven’t figured out your purpose by this stage of your life, it is probably going to take some serious contemplation on your part to do so now.. For that effort to be successful, you really need to eliminate all distractions. You need to learn to be present in the moment, and comfortable alone with yourself. You’ll need to be away from music, your phone, the TV, and email. It can be scary being by yourself, but you need to become comfortable within yourself for this to work. Simply sit quietly and clear your mind of whatever thoughts happen to appear. If you can do this out in nature, so much the better. Being present in the natural world is a revitalizing experience.

After a time, you will learn to quiet your conscious mind and become more open to input from other, more subtle sources. These subtle voices are sources of information that are normally overwhelmed by the buzz and roar of modern life, not to mention the ceaseless chatter of your conscious mind. While these sources usually remain unheard, they are more attuned to your inner feelings and needs than your conscious mind.

How will all this help you find your purpose you ask? It goes something like this. Once you can be comfortable being alone with yourself and present in the moment, you can hear the subtle signals that your conscious mind drowns out. Now what you can do is focus on the question, “What is my purpose?” and allow the answer to appear in the quiet space you have cleared in your mind. By giving yourself space without distractions, and focusing on this single question, you clear space for the answer to come to you. Eventually, be it in days, weeks, or months, you will notice a change.

Knowing what to do when this understanding strikes is the subject of the Discover Your Purpose portion of the Law to Success program. To learn more about this powerful program, please visit the Law to Success Mastery Program Review Review at http://TheLawToSuccess.com/

Outlook Mail: Save More Than One Mail Attachment Simultaneously

Do you sometimes receive email messages that contain more than one attachment? If you have, you probably saved them one at a time, which works well enough when getting these kinds of messages is infrequent. But if you receive a lot of messages with multiple attachments, or occasional messages with lots of attachments, you might be interested to know that there is indeed a way to download and save multiple attachments at the same time. It’s actually easy to do, but the process varies a little bit depending on whether you are using Outlook 2003 or Outlook 2007. What follows are the steps for each version of Outlook. In order to prevent any confusion, I’ve created a separate set of instructions for each Outlook version.

How to Save More than One Mail Attachment at a Time in Outlook 2003

This is the procedure to follow when you want to save multiple mail attachment files at a time when working with Outlook 2003.

  1. Select and open the message that contains the attachments.
  2. Click File, then Save Attachments.
  3. When the Save All Attachments dialog box appears, find the Attachments list, one or more attachments that you want to save, then click OK.
  4. In the Save File dialog box that appears, navigate to the folder that you want to save the attachments in. Click click OK to save them.

Saving Multiple Mail Attachments at Once in Outlook 2007

This is the procedure to follow when you want to save more than one mail attachment simultaneously when working with Outlook 2007.

  1. Open the message containing the attachments you want to save.
  2. Click Other Actions, then Save Attachments in the Actions panel of the Ribbon.
  3. When the Save All Attachments dialog box appears, find the Attachments list, select the attachments you want to save, then click OK.
  4. A standard file save dialog box appears. Navigate to the folder where you want to save the attachments. Click click OK to save them.

That’s all there is to it. The attachments are now stored in the folder you selected. I hope that you will find the procedures here to be time-savers when you’re working with attachments. And just so you know, there are a lot more tips where these came from.

The Living With Outlook website has an illustrated version of these multiple mail attachment instructions, not to mention quite literally hundreds more tips and tricks for making your days with Outlook more enjoyable. You’re invited to come and explore the site. Here’s a good starting point for someone dealing with lots of email: http://www.living-with-outlook.com/outlook-mail-tips.html

The Law to Success Program: Understanding the DISC Model

The DISC model of human personality types is a powerful tool for success. Your ability to identify a person’s primary DISC personality style, and to use that knowledge appropriately is the key to Adrian Law’s Platinum Rule (which is the subject of another article altogether). So what exactly is the DISC model and why should you care?

A gentleman by the name of Professor William Marsden developed the DISC model around 90 years ago. After studying the behavior of a large group of people, the Professor determined that there are 4 unique behavior styles possessed by each human being, with one of them being dominant. If you understand a person’s main DISC personality type, you can communicate with them more effectively, a skill which sits at the heart of the Platinum Rule.

The four personality styles that the professor identified are: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Compliance (hence the acronym DISC). As you would expect, a person’s dominant personality style directly influences most aspects of their life, including how they interact with others and how best you can interact with them. For example, a person with a primarily high-D personality will usually be a take-charge character interested in accomplishing tasks and getting stuff done. A high-I person, on the other hand, will be very people-oriented and more interested in telling stories and talking about themselves than in accomplishing tasks or being productive.

Because each personality type values different things, and we all tend to like people who are most like us, you need to take a person’s DISC style into account when dealing with them. If you’ve ever tried to chit-chat with a high-D person, or stay right on task with a high-I person, you know the futility of trying to interact with a person using a style that isn’t compatible with their own. Since this is so, the ability to recognize someone else’s DISC personality style and modify your approach to one that is compatible with theirs is a powerful tool for succeeding in your interactions with them.

In the Law to Success Mastery program, Adrian Law and his team can teach you practical techniques for recognizing a person’s DISC personality style as well as show you how to interact with them in ways that will make you both happy while getting you what you want. 3 Keys to Apply the Law of Attraction, Part of the Law to Success

The Law of Attraction tells us that it is possible to attract to ourselves whatever it is that we want in life. Yet out of all the millions of people who have watched the movie, The Secret, or read Earl Nightingale’s book, The Greatest Secret, or have been introduced to this knowledge in some way, only a tiny fraction have actually achieved their goals. Why is that? It is because knowing that you can attract what you want isn’t enough. You need to be able to apply this knowledge in your own life.

In the Law to Success program, Adrian Law shows us that there are three keys to applying the Law of Attraction in your life. He then shows us practical techniques we can use to apply the keys in our daily lives. The three keys are:

Be Truly Present

The people who have the most success attracting what they want in life are those who are the most “present” in whatever they’re doing. In other words, their full attention is on whatever it is they are doing in the here and now. Letting your mind drift from what you are doing to past events or future possibilities is very common. Yet those who are most successful manage to keep their thoughts on the present. The ability to do so is the first key to success.

Be Clear About Your Goals

When your goals are vague and imprecise, they’re almost impossible to achieve. Giving yourself vague goals like “get rich,” or “be successful” is pointless. Such vague goals have no power to inspire you or attract anything. The people who are most successful at attracting what they want know exactly what they want, in very precise detail. It is this precise knowledge that enables them to achieve their goals so effectively.

Ask Yourself Productive Questions

Whether we realize it or not, we’re constantly asking ourselves questions. And the specifics of the questions we ask ourselves greatly influences the course of our lives. By asking ourselves productive, constructive, detailed questions, we focus our minds on what we do want, rather than on things we don’t want or negative things from our past. You think about the answers to the questions you ask yourself, and you attract to yourself the thing you think about, so asking questions that deal with achieving your goals automatically puts you in the right place for the Law of Attraction to bring you the things you want most.

In the Law to Success program, you will learn practical techniques for how to be present in whatever you are doing, be really clear on what you want, and ask yourself the kinds of questions that put the Law of Attraction to work for you. Energy for Life: Part 1 of the Law to Success Mastery Program

If you look at it objectively the most important part of the Law to Success Mastery program is called Energy for Life. The focus is on improving your health, as everything else is easier if you’re healthy, and harder when your health is bad or declining. Not surprisingly for a part of the program with this title, the main topics here are food, drink, and exercise. Let’s take a closer look at each from the Law to Success perspective.

Adrian Law, the creator of the Law to Success Mastery program, uses the electrical frequency model to classify the healthfulness of foods. In this model, everything vibrates at a particular frequency, and the higher the frequency the healthier the food. As you might expect, foods like chocolate cake and cheeseburgers have low frequencies, with fruits vibrating faster, and vegetables fastest of all, making them the healthiest to eat.

Next comes drink. Adrian cites a 2002 study in the American Journal of Epidemiology that showed significantly higher risks of fatal heart attacks for people who didn’t drink enough water and lays out the quantity and types of drinks that are appropriate to maintaining your best health. He specifically and strenuously argues against consuming drinks that contain caffeine and alcohol, as these actually dehydrate you, making them harmful to your healthfulness, rather than helpful.

When it comes to exercise, Adrian presents a simple program of aerobic walking as part of an 8-day Law to Success challenge. The challenge brings together everything you’ve learned about food, drink, and exercise to demonstrate the incredible changes in your energy levels that can come from applying all these changes immediately. Of course, if you haven’t exercised in a long time, you need to talk to your doctor before doing this. But once you’re cleared to go for it, the challenge will produce exciting results quickly, giving you not only a fast start on changing your life, but new energy to apply to the rest of the Law to Success Mastery program.

As you’ve just seen, the Law to Success program is filled with practical, effective steps you can take immediately to get everything you want in life. To continue your progress, please visit the Law to Success Review at http://TheLawToSuccess.com/
