An Introduction to Subliminal Messages and Hypnosis

Subliminal hypnosis works by gaining access to your subconscious mind - it bypasses your critical thinking function to overwrite and reprogram your negative behavior this is the real beauty of hypnosis is that a person’s body does not know the difference between imaging something and having it happen.. So if your conscious efforts have been failing, then subliminal hypnosis may be able to reprogram these unconscious thoughts that have been holding you back.

If for example you want to lose weight and have failed many times then you probably have many limiting beliefs - beliefs such as “I will never be slim / My metabolism is just naturally slow /I am just not capable of losing weight and keeping it off” - you may not be even fully aware of these beliefs, or you may even deny them, but somewhere you will have some beliefs like this DEEP within your subconscious mind whih are holding you back. Hypnosis changes your beliefs for positive and beneficial ways of thinking to help you in certain areas of your life whether it is losing weight, improving your sports performance, or even improving your body image.

Subliminal messaging it is simply a lighter form of hypnosis. It works on the same principal in that it of accesses the subconscious mind and changes behavior and the negative thought patterns which hold you back in life. However there are several differences and pros and cons of each method:

  • Hypnosis can be very powerful, just one session with a qualified professional may be all it takes to change your behaviour forever. Subliminal CDs should be played every day, at least for the first 1-2 weeks - the effects are more gradual
  • Hypnosis can be expensive, especially for a highly trained hypnotist. Subliminal CDs are inexpensive and easy to obtain.
  • Hypnosis requires that you go into a deep trance like state. Subliminal Cds can be used at any time - while doing various activities, or relaxing, or even while sleeping.
  • Depending both upon your state of mind and the skill of the hypnotist you may need a few sessions so that you are able to go deeper into a trance and get full benefit. Subliminal CDs do not send you into a trance and you will always receive the messages to your unconscious mind.

People use subliminal messaging as an alternative to traditional hypnosis, however there is no single best method, it depends upon your current circumstances, the type of change you want to make and your preffered method of development. Subliminal hypnosis CDs can even be a great compliment to any hypnosis session you have - they will enforce any changes you are making, and promote the behavior you want to adopt.

Goals Setting: How to Fulfilling Your Dreams.

Dream about a life filled with parties, socializing and non-step fun.  Start imaging yourself running your own business or receiving a doctoral degree.  What choice would you make?  You choose what life you’d like to lead.  Happiness is something that you need to pursue.  Defining your goals is the first step you must take in order to achieve your dreams.

Goals Setting:  The Importance of Doing It

Goals setting for oneself is absolutely essential in order for one to be successful in life.  Setting and achieving goals involves thinking deeply about what, how and when to accomplish those settings.  Once you do that, everything you do will focus on achieving that goal.  Leave out of your schedule anything that does not relate to your goal.

This however does not mean that you will not have the time to relax and re-energize yourself.  Setting goals requires being capable of managing yourself and your own time.  You also don’t want to wind up passing your dreams down to your children due to the fact that you couldn’t make them happy.  Your children may not have the same goals as yourself, and forcing the issue will only serve to create distance between you.

For those who have fixed goals in their routine part of life for themselves. There  they need years to achieve it after planning for their goals  Goal setting should be a part of your life if you want to succeed in multiple areas.

How Do You Begin Your Goals Setting?  You must clear your mind before you start the goal setting process.  Your goals haven’t just appeared.  Your goals arise out of your life experiences which form the basis for what you hope to get out of life.  Keep in mind that any new goals must not be contrary to those you are trying to achieve now.  One example would be if you were presently at the apex of your school counselor career and you set your goal to become a photographer in the next three years.  A better goal here would be to start a counseling clinic of your own.  You should set high and positive goals for yourself.  A goal that you set for yourself that you know you can achieve is no challege at all.  Remember that it is important to set a certain amount of time for your goals to be achieved.  Time constraints encourage you to work hard using the fastest method possible.  Lastly, keep notes about the details of your goals so you can easily consult them if needed.

Continue Learning the Goals Setting Process

Now that you have learned how to set your goals, you cannot stop learning more and more. If you’d like to achieve more goals, then you can’t stop researching how to achieve them.  Once you are comfortable setting your goals in a simple manner, consider setting aside time to discover more complex goal setting methods, you will be pleased with the results.  Changes in technology come about very rapidly and a person should keep themselves updated on the latest breakthroughs.  Moreover, if you go to seminars, read both electronic and print sources, and practice goals setting each time, you’ll develop and then master your abilities in this particular area.  Eventually, you want to make yourself an expert in goals setting.

The road to success is paved with you sitting down and defining your goals.  The quicker you drink it all in, the sooner the desired results will follow.

Resolve Your Past Shame With The Power Of Subliminal Messages

Do you feel haunted by your past? Are you embarrassed of your past? Do you live in the fear of the “shameful” acts buried in your past coming out one day? Are you trying to resolve past shame? You may have hurt or upset people in the past; perhaps you did things that you now consider unforgivable.

Whatever your “sins” may have been, what’s important is that life has given you a second chance. Feeling “ashamed” of our actions is like taking the first step on the path to retribution. The mistake that we make is getting overwhelmed with the first step so much so that we can't move ahead, and we often don't use the chance to fully break free.

A lot of us refuse to let go past shame because we feel we deserve the misery that feeling ashamed of ourselves brings. What we forget is that the only way to get over our past truly is to learn from our mistakes and make a fresh start - never to commit such acts again.

However, resolving our past shame is often much easier said than done. Often the memories of our past become so deeply entrenched in our subconscious that it becomes difficult to let go of them. In such a case a tool that can help in influencing and re-programming our subconscious can help us resolve our past shame and help you to tap into your personal power. The following are two such simple yet effective self-help tools:

Self-hypnosis visualizations- The subconscious mind understands the language of visuals. Under self-hypnosis we can get in touch with our subconscious mind, visual imagery under this state is considered to be an extremely effective tool to re-program the subconscious mind. The following self-hypnosis exercise will help you to start to resolve your past shame.

Step 1-Sit or lie down in a comfortable position

Step 2-Close your eyes

Step 3-Deep breathe

Step 4-Focus on every in-breath and out-breath

Step 5-Imagine that you are taking in light and energy with every in-breath and exhaling all your stress and anxiety with every out-breath

Step 6-Now imagine a beam of white light entering your body through the top of your head

Step 7- Let the light travel to every part of your body

Step 8- Pay attention to each part of the body that the light travels to

Step 9- Feel every muscle go limp and let every cell shine bright with this white light

Step 10- Let the light leave your body from the soles of your feet

Step 11- Now imagine that you are standing on a beach

Step 12- Feel the soft and squishy sand under your feet

Step 13- Look as far as your vision goes

Step 14-See the horizon, where the lovely blue sea meets the sunshine splattered sky

Step 15- Look around you, you’ll see a wooden stick lying on the beach

Step 16-Pick it up and write the names of all those people you have hurt/abused or seek forgiveness from on the sand

Step 17- Now imagine that a wave clears away all the names you have written

Step 18- Slowly relax and clear your mind then open your eyes when you are ready.

Subliminal messages-

Subliminal messages are beyond the perception of the conscious mind but have the power to influence and re-program the subconscious. These messages can re-program your subconscious in such a way, that you can:

  • Allow your subconscious mind to bring your past shame or guilty actions to the surface, so that you can examine and understand them.

  • Subliminally learn to neutralize the act in your mind, so that you are able to put your shame to rest, gain real closure and get on with your life.

Finally, what’s important to remember is that the past will forever reside in our mind; we can either spend a lifetime trying in vain to run away from it or make peace with our past and move on.

How to Deal With Anxiety Attacks

Anyone who’s ever had one needs to know how to handle panic attacks.  Here are a few tips to at least get you started on successfully moving beyond anxiety attacks.

It’s possible to be free of these attacks  They’ll be ancient history.

To begin, know that you should to see your physician if you haven’t already.  Some physical problems can mimic an anxiety episode but aren’t.  You need to make sure that’s not the case with you.

Once you’ve done that and you’ve been through the work up and you know you’re not sick, you can move on to handling the feelings of anxiety.

Here Are Some Ways To Do It

You probably already know about it but I’ll mention deep breathing again here because it is a good foundation.  For reasons that aren’t clear, even people who don’t have anxiety problems don’t breath properly.  With anxiety] [disorders proper breathing is even more necessary because rapis, shallow breathing worsens the physical sensations of panic.

Also, paying attention to your breathing changes your focus away from your fearful thoughts.

You can get more information on How to Stop a Panic Attack at that link.  Here I want to give you one powerful approach.

Halt the Vicious Cycle

Anxiety can become a chain event because the first minor symptoms trigger the worry that a full-blown attack might be beginning.   These concerns increase the anxiety, which increases the symptoms, which…

You see how that might go.

A way to halt this cycle is to take the perspective of like an interested observer rather than a participant.

You’ve had a complete physical so you know as a fact that you’re physically not at risk.

You’ve also had these events before and know that as bad as they are you get through them.

Use this knowledge to let yourself to observe what’s going on rather than identifying with it.  You’ve had a panic attack before and you survived that so you realize you’ll likely survive this.

Observe yourself having the symptoms as if you’re someone else rather than the one experiencing the event  Experiencing anxiety about the possibility of having a panic attack will only make it worse.

Some people are able to adapt this detached attitude by imagining they’re watching the event in a movie or a play instead of than getting completely caught up in the situation.  This detached attitudehelps them keep perspective and know that their fear isn’t stemming from any real danger.

Having been through anxiety events in the past without long-term consequences gives reason to question the validity of the current anxiety episode.

Cognitive therapists often use these rational thoughts to guide people to defuse the fearful thoughts that accompany an anxiety attack.

A therapist is very helpful but many people do it on their own.

A Great Resource

Obviously this is only one way to go.  I found a review of an excellent program to free yourself from panic attacks that I highly recommend you check out.  Just follow that link.

Remember that if you don’t identify with with the panic attack you reduce its ability to upset you.

One of the most important things you can do about panic attacks is to become knowledgable.  Stack the deck in your favor.  Go to Panic Attack Release.

Tips To Find The Required Aromatherapy Candles For You

beeswax candles

Alternative medicine has gained in popularity over the last few years, yet it is nothing new and has been around for centuries. Before there was a medical industry people used alternative medicine as a way to treat their health conditions. Aromatherapy is one such practice that has gained a wide following. Aromatherapy candles can be found in many places. These scented candles are everywhere you shop, barring a hardware store or feed store. You can use them as a way to calm the body and change the mood.

Aromatherapy is nothing new. It has been around for over six thousand years. It was not always in the form of paraffin wax candles or beeswax candles but it was still used. Earlier in history, it would have probably been used as essential oils applied to the skin or burned in pots. In today’s world, the most common form of aromatherapy is found in aromatherapy candles, which release their essential oil fragrances as they are burned.

It is the aromatherapy scents that make all the difference in scented candles. It does not matter if they are soy candles or cheap candles scented with vanilla that you find in discount dollar stores. The effects are the same. The scent you choose will affect your mood. Take for example a vanilla scent. It has been proven to help relax a person. The same can be said for lavender and lilac.

There are scents on the opposite end of the spectrum that can help revitalize you and improve your energy. If you are feeling sluggish, then you may want to try a peppermint candle or one that contains lemon. Perhaps you are feeling amorous and want to inspire a feeling of romance in the air? Then you should try a rose candle or a scented candle that contains sandalwood. Both are known for their aphrodisiac effects.

Whatever your mood or your level of stress there are aromatherapy candles to help out your day. You can find them in any grocery store, dollar store or retail store and most are relatively inexpensive. Most candles can be purchased for less than $5 and even the more expensive candles, such as those from The Yankee Candle Company are less than $25 for a large candle. Plus, you can buy the small scented boards to go in your automobile to keep that fresh smell going wherever you are.

Small Business Coaching: Are You Ready To Become A Success Story?

Small business coaching is hot. A few years ago the only coaches anyone talked about were sports coaches. But today, PriceWaterhouseCoopers estimates that there are 30,000 business and life coaches worldwide.

Thousands of small business owners and managers turn to coaches every day to improve their personal skills and business results. You can, too. But first you have to determine if you’re ready for coaching. Then you have to select the right coach.

Are you Ready?

Rosa started her business out of her home. She made money, but not as much as she felt she should. She was frustrated that she couldn’t find time for her family. That’s when a friend suggested that a small business coach would help. For more information refer to motivational speaker

That’s a typical situation. Most small businesses owners don’t start out using a coach. They usually come to coaching when they’ve had some success and when they know they could have more. They usually come to coaching when they’re ready to listen and when they need a little knowledge and a little nudge to do the right things.

The best coaching in the world won’t help you if you’re not ready to be helped. So before you go hunting for a good small business coach, answer the following questions.

Are you ready to listen to the things you need to hear? A good coach will ask you about things you haven’t thought of and push you to think outside the box. That’s often scary.

A good coach may also tell you to change the way you do some things. That’s hard for many small business owners because it means admitting that you’ve made some bad decisions and choices.

Are you ready to take a hard look at your business? Even the best coach can’t help you if your business can’t deliver quality to enough people at the right price. Sometimes a business simply can’t succeed because the market is too small or too hard to reach.

Are you ready to pay the price? Coaching does not come without a price. You will pay a price in both money and time. You may even realize that you need to invest in new things for your business.

Coaching is not a magic bean. You have to work at success every day. I tell my clients that “success is based on persistency and consistency, not magic.”

You’re ready for coaching if you see coaching as an investment in yourself and your success. Your next challenge is to find the right coach for you.

Choosing the Coach for You

Great coaches, like great chefs and great football players, are rare. And, sometimes, even a great coach is not the right coach for you. Here are some ways to evaluate coaches. Go to Life Coach for more information.

Look for a coach who’s run a small business. Before I started coaching I built two successful small businesses. I’ve really “been there and done that” so I know what my clients are going through.

I also use coaches myself. The ones that work best for me have small business experience. Small businesses are different from big businesses and you need a coach who understands the special challenges.

Look for a coach who’s been doing it for a while. My job as a coach is to help you know what to do, but it’s also to help you do what you know. It takes time to learn to coach well.

Look for a coach who won’t nickel and dime you to death. It seems to me that there are two kinds of coaches when it comes to billing. There are coaches who charge you by the minute, hour or session. And there are coaches who are always accessible or available for short conversations between sessions, if needed without piling on extra charges. I find the latter works better for my clients.

Look for a coach that you’re comfortable with. Successful outcomes demand a productive relationship between you and your coach. It won’t work if you feel talked down to or belittled or if you feel like your coach doesn’t care about you. If you feel any of those things, look for a different coach.

Look for a coach who’s picky. The best coaches are selective about the kind of clients they work with. We expect a lot of our clients and we limit the number of clients we work with so we can concentrate on helping each one succeed.

After some soul searching and some research Rosa started working with a small business coach. It wasn’t always easy, but together they found ways to help Rosa’s business grow and help her reap the benefits of success. They took her business and life to a whole new level.

It can happen for you, too. If you’re ready, if you’re willing to embrace change and if you’re willing to pay the price, a small business coach can help you become an amazing success story. Visit Author for further information.
