Cheap Charms

Over the last years, charms have become dominant elements of the jewel market in a variety of combinations, designs and collections, serving as a launching factor for many brand names. Although much less discussed, cheap charms are the items regularly brought by average jewel customers. How do cheap charms stand apart in the economy of one collection or another? First of all let’s start by saying that the low cost of cheap charms results from the type of materials used for the design. Thus we could identify some specific ratings and value classes depending on factors such as materials, use of precious stones and brand name.

Pewter and silver make good cheap charms, they make great choices for decorating cars, zippers, key chains or bags, but they work great with bracelets and necklaces as well. A good point here clearly refers to the advantages of silver sterling over pewter, even if both metals are classified in the category of cheap charms. Pewter is no longer that popular given its short life and decay rate that transforms a beautiful jewel in a rather short period of time. Sterling silver on the other hand is often used in combination with gold, in the design of Italian charms for instance.

In case you are after higher quality cheap charms, gold plating could be the answer. Such jewels combine the metal properties of silver, stainless steel or nickel with the precious beauty of golden layers. The resistance of the combination results from the specificity of the manufacturing process and the gold film size. Depending on the brand name the prices of cheap charms differ greatly, yet, personal impression represents the best way to make a decision. On the average, cheap charms have prices starting with just a few bucks and reaching $400, with the upper limit of inexpensive items set for $50.

Last but not least, from one jewel maker to another, the attributes of cheap charms vary a lot. Most of the time the big names in this market sector cover casual wear collections that are usually more accessible to the regular customer in terms of price. This only reflects the relativity of the concept of cheap charms given the fact that every person could have a different perspective and personal budget on the grounds on which one can judge. Therefore, what may look like cheap charms for one shopper could be way out of budget for another.

What Do You Want In Life?

Normal 0

What do you really want in life?

Most people don’t discover what they want in life until it’s time to die – and that’s a shame.

Most people spend the best years of their lives watching television or doing things they dislike. An author described humanity by saying, “Most people die at twenty and are buried at eighty.” Are you one of the living zombies?

What do you really want in life?

Some people struggle in answering such question. When asked what they want or what their goals in life are, many are unsure. They dillydally in their decision, hardly giving any thought about what they want in life. People without definite goals are letting time pass them by. Are you one of these people?

If you are undecided about what you want out of life, do not worry. There are many ways of discovering your purpose in life.

To discover what you want in life, try looking deep into your heart. Oftentimes, people are ruled by logic. People live by what they think they should be or by what others like them to be. The discovery process is the perfect time to listen to your heart. What your heart desires comes from the whispers of your authentic self. Your authentic self is the real you.

Listen to your heart to be able to listen to your authentic self. What your heart says usually feels right. What your heart desires is what you usually love to do and this represents your passion. Anything done with passion is like play where the task is accomplished without hesitation. You pour out your very best and feel no pressure or resistance.

You will totally enjoy doing things that are your passion. Setbacks, difficulties, and obstacles will make it more challenging, but should not deter you from pursuing your goals. Naturally, there may be barriers that may prevent you from reaching your goal, but your heart’s desire will find ways to overcome these barriers so that you may ultimately get what you want in life. Remember this: the universe supports people who are pursuing their passion and those who are pursuing their destiny.

However, this does not mean that you don’t use your head. People are born with both the mind and heart. Your duty is to live your best life and be in harmony with your mind and heart. The poet Rumi wisely said, “Live completely in the head and you cannot feel the breath and rhythm of life. Live completely in the heart and you may find yourself acting like a love-struck fool with poor judgment and discipline. It’s all a fine balance - the head and heart must forge a lifetime partnership if one wants to live a beautiful life.”

Listen to your instinct. Part of human nature is the mysterious and spontaneous reaction on things. Often times, these are called instincts. Your authentic self communicates with you and guides you via instincts. Instincts are those gentle nudges that urge you to act and follow a certain path. Your role then is to listen attentively.

Often times, we listen to what others say and allow them to run our lives. Parents often do this to their children. “We come from a family of doctors, so my son must also be a doctor.” How often do we hear this from parents who have good intentions for their children? Parents unconsciously block the true expression of their child’s real self and calling. Friends and critics will discourage you and point out the impossibility of your dream. Before heeding their advice, evaluate the accomplishments of the critics. Did they achieve theirs dreams? Do they dream big at all?

Remember, it is your destiny that is in line, not theirs. It doesn’t mean, though, that you will not listen to what other people say. Hear them out just the same. But the final decision should be yours.

There is only thing to remember: Every person, to live truly and greatly, must define how he wants to live and what his brightest life will look like. Listen to your instincts and follow your heart’s desire. You will never go wrong.

The secret to reading over fifty books a year without breaking a sweat

I didn’t believe it the first time I heard a friend of mine say -

“I benefit from the reading of 50 books each year… without turning a page”.

Knowing how demanding her time was because of her top position in her job and because she is a single mom, I was certain she was lying and I told her so.

Smiling, she insisted that it was the truth. I would have continued arguing with her until she pointed out to me that she didn’t have to physically “read” them, but they were “read” to her while she listened… in her spare time.

Not giving me any opportunity to argue, she went ahead and played an audio book on her CD player for my perusal.

She explained that this was how she had almost any book she wanted read to her as audiobooks while she prepared for work in the morning, while she prepared her daughter for school, while she did her exercises each day, while she commuted to and from work and any free time she had on hands that didn’t involve using her mind.

I was surprised, to say the least, that I could have been doing the same thing in my spare time, instead of just commuting to and from work doing nothing.

You see, my work is one that requires a lot of my time involvement. I’ve set off to the office at around 6.30am and then spend nearly two hours commuting. Then, when I get to work, I don’t get a spare minute until I leave for the night.

From what this friend of mine explained to me, I knew I had to give audio books a try.

I did and was very impressed.

Now, I can proudly say I also benefit from the ‘reading’ of up to 50 books each year.

Still don’t think it’s possible?

Fine, let’s do the math:

For an audio book that takes 4 hours, you can have it read to you in just two days - 1 hour each day while preparing for work in the morning and 1 hour each day while commuting to and from work. That’s 4 hours in 2 days.

So, if it takes you 2 days to have one audio book read to you, that will be 365 days in a year divided by 2. That’s an amazing one hundred and thirty three books per year!

That’s over double the original 50 audio books we were targeting, right?

Audiobooks are indeed the secret formula that many people use to get the value from the best books they want to read. With audiobooks, you can completely put behind you the frustration you previously had whenever you forced yourself to read a book.

For the bookworms back in college that want to continue reading but can’t afford the time anymore, you now have a solution in audio books.

Whether you want to use your PC to download audio books, cassette tape player, CD or even any PDA (Personal Digital Assistant), it is now possible and within your reach for peanuts.

One excellent source that I have found for MP3 audio books is Spoken Network. You can find them at:

Make Your Gums and Teeth Happier and You Might Avoid Expensive Periodontal Treatments

gum disease

I guess this article would be classified as a review of the hydro floss oral irrigator based on personal observation and use. This is a tool that should be talked about.

A while back, my dental doctor and her trusty hygienist assistant told me that something had to be done about my gum disease issues. They seemed very strong and even a bit forceful that I really needed this treatment.

Their idea of a workable solution was something called a ‘Scaling and Root Planing’ treatment. This is also referred to as a SRP.

I wasn’t pleased to be told this. It just didn’t sound like it was something that I wanted to go through.

Furthering my anxiety, the dentist’s helper told me that she could use special tools to dig right underneath my gums and get any accumulation of calculus or tartar out that had been building up. She also intended to make the surfaces smooth so that it would be harder for calculus build-up to return.

This procedure appeared to be even worse than I first imagined. It was no comfort to hear her say that she could numb my gums up so that I wouldn’t feel a thing!

It seemed to me that it was going to be a bit painful when the meds left my system. This was not the kind of life experience that I would remember fondly.

The dentist’s helper was very firm that if I didn’t accept their treatment plan that they can not accept responsibility for what might happen to my teeth. I was required to display that I understood by signing a waiver document. Could things get any worse?

Candidly speaking, I imagined that I was becoming the victim of some slick marketing tactics. It was difficult to believe this was anything other than a slick marketing ploy.

Then we reached the point where I made up my mind. The hygienist told me that it would be best if they started today. She wanted to do this instead of my regular cleaning routine.

The argument certainly seemed agreeable. The problem was with insurance. Should I get the standard, regular cleaning procedure now, insurance might not be inclined to pay for the advanced one later.I really felt, at this point, that I really needed to think about this and I wasn’t willing to commit just yet.

There was a voice in my mind that was very strongly opposed to going through with this new protocol, so I said no.I was not asked about signing the waiver again, I thought that was interesting.

All of this sounded a bit ‘off’ to me. There had to be another way for my gums to be healthy again.

I was surprised to discover that a person I knew had undergone this procedure. She confided that the outcome was not good in her opinion.

I looked for an answer that would make sense to me.I ran across the hydrofloss oral irrigator.I ordered one.

When it arrived I was very hopeful. For some reason, they were supposed to send me a video with the HydroFloss but it was not to be found in the package.

I wrote to them and said that I would really like to have the video instructions.I did not have any more issues after that and shortly received the video in the mail.Watching the video made me feel very upbeat.

I felt confident that this device was going to work for me.I committed to utilizing it often each day.

Over five months had passed by the time I revisited the dentist. The reaction I received from them made my very happy.

The very same hygienist and doctor looked at my gums again. Each agreed that there was a vast improvement. They were in harmony that I would not be needing that scaling and root planing treatment any longer.

You most likely realize that I was very, very happy to learn of my results. I continue to utilize the hydro floss every day, unless I’m out of town travelling.

If you wondered if the <Hydro Floss is trully worth it - it really is! That’s based on my exposure to the device.
