Time to Read the Important Information - Light Meditation

Well i know we are in the correct opening of the chakra’s right now but i thought i would give you a little fun meditation to practice.

This is called ball of light meditation.

Ball of Light Meditation

The chakras are located along the spine, but they also extend to the front of our bodies, excluding the crown and the base.

Each of the chakras, the second through the sixth has an opposite chakra in the front of the body along the abdomen. The sixth chakra has three.

The rear sixth chakra located at the occipital in the back of the head, the middle sixth chakra is located between the third eye and the occipital sixth chakra. So where your third eye is on the front of your head, then one in the middle being the pineal gland and finally one at the rear. They are all located in a straight line.

To perform the meditation, visualize a small ball of bright light the size of a ping-pong ball and light up a chakra on your spine with it and pass it to the front chakra directly opposite it and light it up, then pass it back to the chakra on your spine. Keep passing it back and forth to each chakra, then move up or down to the next chakra (whichever one you want to work with).

You can either visualize the ball as the sun coloured light or the color of the chakra you are working with.

You can also connect the crown to the base. The energy center located in the perineum is especially powerful with this. Just pass it up and down.

Now another interesting thing one can do with this is to connect with another person and this greatly enhances telepathy. For example, passing the ball back and forth from their heart chakra to your’s will tell you about the other person’s emotional experiences and character.

To communicate with someone, pass the ball of light from your third eye to their third eye, back and forth.

Now, it is obvious you can, with experience invade others’ privacy and this also includes your own- just something to be aware of if you don’t want anyone in your personal business. In that case, close down your chakras if someone does this against your will. Then do the ‘getting rid of unwanted entities’ meditation i have written. Then open the chakras back up.

Practice with a friend. The more you practice the better you will become.

Where Can You Find The Best Telephone Psychics?

We all want to know who are the best telephone psychics. None of us want to be duped into getting terrible telephone psychic readings. Because then we wonder if the readings are really worth what we paid. Assuming, of course, you are not getting your readings for free!

One way to know that you are dealing with one of the best telephone psychics is ask yourself if the psychic is being direct to the point. Poor or fake psychics will often add unnecessary dialogue to the conversation so that they can get extra phone time from the customer, and thus make more money. This is clearly a bad sign.

If a psychic does not care about getting extra money, then you can feel pretty safe that they are a quality psychic and potentially one of the best.

Do understand, the best telephone psychics are usually worth paying the exorbitant prices they ask for. This is just a nice way of saying that you will often get what you pay for. If you are getting a free psychic reading, it may not be safe to put a lot of merit behind what you are being told. If you want ‘good’ advice, then you will probably want to pony up the extra money it will require to guarantee a quality reading.

Getting the best will often require that you pay for the best. Free readings do not typically scream ‘quality’.

Some companies, like ‘Keen’ for example, tend to have higher grade psychics on their staff while still offering free readings. Beware that these free readings are typically very short or may consist of a single question. This is all geared to get you to pay for a longer reading. Be warned. If you absolutely must have a free phone psychic reading, then look for radio shows or other public appearances and wait in line with everyone else trying to get their advice for free. That or you can just be content with getting a very brief free reading, or a solitary question answered for free.

So, if you are really trying to find the best telephone psychics, then be smart about finding them and use known services’ ‘free’ offers to sift through the large quantities of fakes and phones. Look for a psychic that cares little about how long you are on the phone, and more about you getting what you are looking for. A quality psychic reading.

Learn The Art of Tai Chi

tai chi chuan

Tai Chi is an ancient martial art, one that was practiced for centuries in China as an exercise, a martial art, and a way to better the internal flow of energy in the body. It emphasis correct form and feeling with each and every movement, which is why it is always taught to be practiced in a slow and gentle fashion.

By involving the entire body with little to no impact, Tai Chi chuan promotes strength, flexibility, and stamina. With the entire body being taught to move as a whole, Tai Chi combines the link among the mind and the body, helping to strengthen one’s coordination and balance. It can also help with the joints as well, especially if an individual is very stiff in the joints.

Although it was created to be a martial art, it involves very little hitting, offensive, or even defense movements. Tai Chi is a movement and breathing art that involves all of the major muscles and joints in the body, helping to circulate internal energy, or chi. The Chinese believe that internal energy, or chi is what prevents or stops diseases.

When practicing the art through tai chi classes, the body will remain very soft and relaxed, just like it was suspended from the top of the head with the joints being the same to that of a puppet. The mind of the student is focused on each movement, focusing on the flow of energy. By being relaxed and focused, you permit the energy to flow through your entire body.

Even though you are soft and relaxed, you are still constantly moving. The energy that moves through your body never stops, it keeps you moving. It takes a small amount to no energy to make a movement when moving in reality. By using your chi, everything you do seems as if it is weightless.

In combat Tai Chi movements, the pupil uses his opponent’s energy against him. The stylist is quite relaxed, as they believe that the energy from the opponent is used against them. There is little to no strength involved. When the opponent becomes weak and becomes tired - the stylist attacks. This way, there is very little energy left for any more type of movements.

Tai Chi is one of the oldest forms of martial arts, and one of the most difficult to find these days. Just like other martial arts, such as Tiger Claw and Ninjutsu, it can be very hard to find a dojo that teaches the art. If you can find a dojo that teaches the art of Tai Chi, you really shouldn’t pass it up. You can learn a lot about internal energy and your spiritual well being - learning more about yourself than you ever thought possible in the process.

When The Spotlight Is On You As A Public Speaker

Preparing for a presentation with the use of visual aids can often overlook the obvious visual, You. That’s right! The speaker. Other forms of visual aids are just that, aids to help interpret your presentation. It is important that you are the main visual. Image is everything!

Focusing on the following areas will prepare you to be the main attraction.

Mental and Physical Preparation

Physical and mental preparation goes hand-in-hand. When you are nervous, your mind is usually racing, causing your words to jumble as they try to keep up with your thoughts. Physically slowing down your mind by relaxing your body helps eliminate this problem. Gather your thoughts through deep breathing and stretching to calm your nervousness. Mental imagery is a tool for a speaker to minimize or eliminate any negative thoughts or fears about speaking. Visualize that you are a dynamic and confident speaker who has valuable information to give.

Proper Attire

What is the first thing your audience will notice about you? Most likely it will be what you are wearing. Pay close attention to how your dress is representing you. Check with the event organizers to be sure that you won’t under or over dress. Do not wear anything that takes away from your presentation such as big jewelry, loud colors, or excessive makeup unless it is part of your presentation.

Body Language

1. Eye communication

The best way to use eye contact is to make eye contact! Do not overlook your audience when you are nervous. Find friendly faces and connect with the audience. This builds confidence in you as the audience senses your sincerity. You can use eye contact to seek feedback from your audience. Are they attentive and interested?

Too little eye contact is interpreted as being impolite and disinterested. Too much makes someone feel uncomfortable and victimized. Try to focus on connecting with your audience and eye contact will become comfortable. Article by Professional Speaker

2. Gestures

Gestures should be natural and represent what you are feeling and thinking at that moment. If you are excited, and grand gestures are natural for you, go for it! Your audience appreciates sincerity verses a rehearsed robotic gesture. Although different countries and cultures define gestures differently, there are general gestures which convey a certain message to the audience.

Negative or closed gestures:

- Hands on the hips can be perceived as judgmental and authoritative.
- Hands in pockets show that you are nervous or complacent.
- Hands clasped behind you (reverse fig leaf or regal position) infer that you are hiding something, may cause distrust. This may also show nervousness.
- Hands clasped in front (fig leaf) convey tension.
- Crossed-arms may portray you as defensive and unopened.

Positive or open gestures:

- “At ease stance” (feet about shoulder width apart with toes pointed forward).
- Gestures should be appropriate and flowing, not quickly and jerky.
- Vary your gestures so that you do not bore the audience.
- Palms open show that you are non-threatening.
- Appear natural by matching your words, thoughts, and feelings to your gesture.

3. Posture and Movement

- Proximity and orientation.
- The social norm in North America is about one-and-one-half feet to four feet between two people. Standing too close to someone can cause them to feel uncomfortable and infringed on. Standing too far can cause them to feel disconnected and disinterested.
- Stances/movement - a neutral stance is usually best. Feet slightly shoulder width apart and toes forward. Movement is dependent on your situation. Pacing is distracting however, showing a visual by moving back and forth may be warranted.
- Head nodding can be perceived positively showing your audience that you are interested in them. It can also be perceived negatively if you are shaking your head in a disapproving or demeaning manner. Article by Life Coach

4. Facial expressions

Be extremely aware of your facial expressions. Do your facial expressions convey a different meaning than what you are thinking or feeling? Or, are they conveying exactly what you are thinking or feeling (i.e. tiredness, boredom)? Always remember to smile at the audience. A good time to do this is when people are first coming into your session. Greet them with a smile. This helps relax you and helps the audience warm up to you before your formal presentation. It is easier to give a presentation in front of a relaxed and inviting crowd rather than a cold and judgmental one.

Remember, you may have the most dynamic presentation slide show with the latest technology, however, all that hard work will be discarded if you do not prepare yourself and the main visual. Make your next presentation a high-impact one with a lasting impression of YOU.

Happy Presenting!

Best Guide to Understanding Relationship - Foundational Meditation and Chakra Breathing

Foundational meditation

1. Sit in a comfortable chair or lie down on a comfortable spot and relax.

2. Imagine and will, with each inhale, not only your lungs are breathing, inhaling air, but also your whole body is breathing in energy. You inhale with your entire body. The breath acts as a focus for absorbing energy.

3. Know that along with your lungs, each single inch of your body simultaneously absorbs energy. Like a dry sponge when dipped into water absorbs, your body should absorb energy with each inhalation.

Since everyone is individual, how each of us feels the energy will be different in some respects.

To reverse this, exhale energy out. This can make you tired and shouldn’t be done regularly other than to get a grip on how to do it.

* Exhaling energy is for empowering talismans, healing, and just about everything when you want to put energy into something or to direct it.

Energy can also be inhaled and absorbed and then directed to a specific area of your body for healing.

In a very short time, you should be able to feel the energy when you breathe it in. As you advance, you will be able to see it without trying to visualize it.

Feeling in this exercise is most important, especially when you are new. Do not try to see the energy as this can be a distraction. Just get a feel for it.

This exercise is the most important for working with your mind and manipulating energy.

As you advance, you can use this technique of energy absorption to absorb energy from the Sun and from just about anything you choose.

Chakra Breathing

To perform this meditation, you should already be experienced with the Foundation Meditation which is posted.

Relax and enter into a trance state, then, instead of breathing in energy into your entire body as with the energy meditation, breath in energy into each one of your chakras, for seven breaths each. Seven breaths is only a guideline, you can do more or less, but it is important to keep your chakra’s in balance. It is important to not only breathe in the energy, but also to visualize it.

You can breathe in colour of the sun energy (the most powerful) or the color energy of the chakra.

When you are finished breathing each of the chakras, breathe in energy through all of your seven chakras, front and back to meet in the middle.

After this, perform the Foundation Meditation.

This meditation can also be done on just one chakra that is lacking in energy or that is blocked. Just apply the breathing one or more times a day. The rest of the meditation is unnecessary if you are working on a specific weak chakra.

Some may be familiar with drawing down energy from the moon and other planets. The sun is hundreds of times more powerful. The energy of the sun contains all of the colors of the spectrum in their purest forms. Performing this full meditation out of doors under the sun can give you incredible energy and is also very healing. Just affirm “I am breathing in powerful whitey-gold (or whatever color) energy from the sun, into my ______ chakra.” Repeat this several times and then visualize yourself absorbing the energy and brightening your chakras with it.

How To Identify Time Killers: Essential Time Management Tips

We all know time is valuable but, let’s examine the somewhat strange idea of ‘Time Killers’. There are a lot of time killers in this world and what you have to do is identify these time killers, look out for them and stay wary of them. Only then can you put your available time to the maximum possible use.

The killers that I am referring to are quite simple every day things that we see and use in our lives but often do not realize how much of our time they take up.

Seven terrible Time Killers:
Telephone calls
Chatter boxes
Traffic jams
looiking for parking spaces
Meetings
Bad machinery
Long queues

The list could, of course, go on and on. But before we keep adding to the list, I would like to elaborate on certain of the items mentioned above.

How to handle Time Killers.
Telephone calls.
The funny thing about telephone calls is that these instruments are indeed great time savers. The problem arises when telephones are not used properly. the majority of people do not understand and even if they do they forget that telephones are not to be used for lengthy conversations. A fundamental of a telephone conversation is that it should be brief.

Now coming to mobile phones there is a lot to be said and done. Turn off your cell phone when you are having a conversation or a discussion with more than one person. Often we tend to give more importance to the caller than to the person we were having the discussion with. Again the same rule applies here. Be brief. A mobile phone is to be used to get an important message across to someone who you were not able to reach on the land line.

The next point is about those chatter boxes. Steer clear of such people. Believe me, it is much easier to avoid such people than to tell them to shut up and if you get a telephone call from such a person, use a caller ID facility or ask your secretary to divert the call.

Traffic jams and finding parking spaces.
Any one who has lived in the city for at least a day will know what I am talking about. There is no getting past a traffic jam at the rush hour. And will someone tell me why it is called the rush hour when that is the time when the traffic is the slowest and rush hour seems to last two or three hours!
The only thing you can do is anticipate the traffic jam and leave your home a half hour or one hour early. But that does not really keep the time killer at bay. It just helps you to avoid being late. In this respect you have two options. Either you could find something constructive to do while you wait for the traffic to move along or the traffic light to change or a better option would be to take subway and walk the rest of the way. You can get a long a lot faster on your feet and it is a lot better for your health as well.
By doing so, you can also get rid of the headache of finding a parking space.

Not surprisingly lengthy meetings and discussions can prove to be awful time killers particularly if the meeting does not have a clear agenda and if there are people who love to talk among the group. It has been found that most middle and senior level mangers spend nearly 70% of their work time talking. And in most organizations, parleying has been made into a fine art.

Bad machinery is a time waster. How many of us have wanted to sit and scream and bang the daylights out of a pc that does not give us the required data or information. A computer that takes a long time to start up, a photocopier that gives shamefully faint photocopies, even a leaky faucet or a stubborn drawer or door knob can waste a lot of time and send us up the wall. If you have such equipment or machinery, get it changed at the earliest possible date. It is worth the amount of time and energy that you waste on it every day.

Long queues certainly waste a lot of time. That does not mean that you should jump the queue. If you can get the job done over the telephone or can reserve your ticket in advance, do it, even if it means a few extra dollars, it is worth the time you may have to spend waiting.

Apart from these each person may have particular time wasters, like for example, a car that refuses to start in the morning, difficult hair that insists on looking like Medusas head on a bad snake day, an elevator that takes for ever to reach your floor. Use your common sense and try to find alternate methods or even better, if you cannot find an alternate method, you could put the time to some use like read your morning paper in the elevator.
